The YMCA-Scouts Denmark Website
The YMCA-Scouts in Denmark (KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark) is a youth organization based on the fundamental principles of scouting. With over 27,000 members, the organization is part of the worldwide Scouting Movement which has 28 million scouts in 160 countries.
The organization wants to give children and young people the courage to take responsibility for creating a better world by providing them with valuable skills and meaningful communities. Their activities primarily focus on nature and the environment, aiming to educate children and young people to become independent, honest, democratic, and responsible adults who respect their surroundings, environment, and nature.
The YMCA-Scouts wished for a user-friendly website with a streamlined design that would enable their different target groups (scouts, parents, and scout leaders) to easily find the information they were looking for.
The result is a functional WordPress website with a user-friendly interface and clear navigation that effectively communicates the YMCA Scouts' mission, values, and various activities and that is easy to maintain for the YMCA-Scout organization in the future.
