Vi hjalp kunstneren Aurélia Durand med at præsentere sit farverige univers gennem en levende hjemmeside udviklet i Webflow, hvor vi zoomer ind på de karakteristiske detaljer i hendes kunst og lader hendes figurer træde helt frem.
Aurélia Durand er en ung illustrator baseret i København. Gennem stærke farver, markante budskaber og selvsikker, legende energi hylder hun sine afro-descendant rødder og styrker mennesker i at tro på sig selv. At få hendes kunst til at leve digitalt har derfor været en særlig oversættelsesopgave.
Ved at arbejde med forstørrede udsnit, bevægelse og dynamiske interaktioner, hvor karaktererne danser hen over siderne, har vi skabt et digitalt univers, der spejler hendes visuelle udtryk. Resultatet er en oplevelse, der ikke kan andet end få sine besøgende til at smile. Og det er netop essensen af Aurélia Durands kunst.

Aurélia has designed her own custom font, which she uses for statements in the illustrations. Combined with a more classic sans serif font, all texts are quite literally written in her own words and letters. Making every pixel feel and move like her, she's also created a custom cursor.
