The fintech, US-based company Leif was created with a mission to remove financial barriers to education so more people in the US have the opportunity to better their lives.   

America is known as the land of opportunity – but the opportunity is not equally distributed. People come from different backgrounds, are afforded different opportunities, and are faced with different obstacles. Leif wants to remove these obstacles by eliminating the upfront cost of education and investing in students' future success. 

As part of Leif's new Career Services, we strengthened their visual identity and created a new, simple, and user-friendly website. Now both students and schools can easily navigate and find the right solutions for their needs.

Leif wanted to keep the leaf icon in the logo. We tweaked the shape by adjusting the whitespace and the shape slightly to a more uniform and wider shape to convey a more digital-ready and friendlier feel. The color spectrum was reduced to make it easier to apply on various backgrounds. The new brand needed to convey both innovation and trust, so we kept using a serif font in the logo and made it sturdier and bolder.
